Craig is currently a member of the British Freestyle Ski Team, and is ranked Britain's number one male ski cross racer. He competes regularly on the world cup and Europa cup circuits where he has gained great experience and is making fast progress up the rankings. He moved to ski cross from alpine in 2007 after watching some events on the television, realising this is a sport best suited to him. This season he reached the podium in Val Thrones and placed 5th at the French national Championships. Originally, Craig was a member of the British Alpine Development ski team after progressing from the British Children's and English Ski teams.
Along side ski cross, Craig has been learning his trade as a race coach working at the British Ski Academy and also with the English Alpine Ski Team, to try and put some of his experience back into the sport.
In 2008 Craig became an official Opener for the Euro test, setting times in Alp d'huez, Morzine, Les Menuires, Garmish and St Christoph and is currently still calibrated as an opener for further seasons to come.
